So my brother sent me this image. It is a hand made felt "sugar cookie", it is actually a cd cover for a band with the same name (sugar cookie). I think it is totally cool, and am rather pissed off that I didn't think of it myself. Damn it! I would love to make more felt books (if you are curious, I can send you the images of the book) but I just don't have the time to do anything like that. Those books take me at least a week because most of it is hand embroidered and what not. I love them. I personally think the "The Amazing Book of Jordan" that I made was fantastic. I have made Mike many little books, that took me only a day to create. When Heather is older I will teach her the way of the felt book. So Heather was amazing yesterday. I can't believe how much that girl loves people...well most people. Right now she is "making strange" with people she spends a lot of time with...like her grandparents. By the end of the night I was ready to fall on face. This weekend was soo stressful, and Mike and I didn't really have a moment to rest. (The wind is blowing like crazy right now...our BBQ lid is opening a closing. We are supposed to get 90km winds.)
I've been up since 6:25am and I want to really pass out, but Mike did it first. He's been looking after Heather while I went for an ultrasound, and drove my mum around most of the morning and early afternoon. I am soo happy we're going to have a storm! WOO! Storms are the main reason why I like Nova Scotia so much. The storms there are amazing. Well, I am going to go plant myself on the couch for a bit and hope to god that Heather doesn't wake up for another 20mins. Chowder, Katie
